The identity of Corvallis has been formed by 18,000 years of history. We will walk to nine stops over the course of an hour, discovering how global trade, conflicts, and economic shifts shaped Corvallis.

We’ll visit the oldest buildings in Corvallis and the most haunting spot from WWII. You’ll leave in awe of the ripples that spread from world events to Corvallis.

The often-overlooked narratives of women, queerfolk, and people of color have shaped and enriched the tapestry of history. Come hear remarkable stories of individuals whose struggles, triumphs, and contributions defied societal norms and odds to leave an indelible mark on the course of history.


Ghosts & True Crime

True crime meets suspected hauntings on this hour long walking tour! Come delve into the eerie world of ghosts, murder, and grisly accidents in downtown Corvallis.

A Sip of History

Even lifelong Corvallis folks are bound to discover new stories on this 75-minute guided walking adventure that ends with a tulip pour at local craft beer bar – The Bière Library – in a building connected to the tour.

Before we sip, we learn about:

  • how the Jetson’s-era played out in Corvallis
  • the size of the mega ice dam that is now part of our fertile farms
  • the time when the Pacific Northwest was Siberia 2.0
  • the Kalapuya population after the Oregon Trail became famous


Rooftop Tours

We meet on the Sky High rooftop to get a bird’s eye view of locations that connect to a dozen stories illustrating key moments in the story of Corvallis.

The one-hour gathering covers major events in Corvallis history through the early 2000s. The event includes a half-pour of a Sky High brew.
